Hi my name is Fawn. I was dropped at a local shelter by some lovely people who found me before it was too late. The rescue took me from the shelter to bring me back to life....As you can see, I was near starved to death and at only 5 months of age. I was so weak I had to be carried outside to go to the bathroom and then could only sit on my foster Mom's lap. I couldn't run and play with the other dogs because I didn't have the strength. I'm so grateful to be rescued! I get to eat twice a day and can I eat....WOW...food is my favorite!!! I don't really trust that there will be more than the meal that is currently in front of me yet so I eat in a big hurry. I'm gaining weight as you can see from the photo on the right, I've almost doubled in size in the last two months. I'm still too thin for my age and height, but I'm sweet and loving as can be. I get along great with everyone and I love to play.

Donations of Purina One Puppy for me and my fellow pups are also gratefully accepted.
Thanks for reading my story. Please pass the word along about what great work my rescuers are doing...They didn't have to take me because I was the shelters responsibility as I was already there. They take as many dogs from the shelter as the can and help them get well and find them homes....
