Spike


This is Spike. He is 9 months old and neutered and up to date on shots. His owner just lost his house and has to move in with his mother who will not allow Spike to come as she is in an apartment and has dogs of her own.

Spike is housebroken and walks well on a leash. He knows "sit" and is good with the owner's 2 year old child. He weighs about 42 lbs. He has a very sweet personality and looks very much like a Doberman but with some bull terrier thrown in.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

 

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

 

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.

 

MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
