Raven

My name is Raven and I'm a beautiful Golden Retriever/Border Collie Mix about 9 months old (BD 11-25-2010) who hasn't had a very good life so far, but I am very hopeful that there is someone waiting just for me. I'm very smart, active, cute and love people and I have the potential to be a super star, but I need an experinced hand, lots of patience and a stable and loving family.

I was found outside in the freezing cold winter when I was about 8 weeks old. The family that adopted me promised to give me time, attention and training, but didn't follow through, so I didn't learn what was expected of me. Now I need to learn all the basics so I can be the exceptional dog I was meant to be.I am quick to learn and eager to please so it should be a pleasure to work together.

I will be starting my training soon, but it would be so much better if I had a family to participate in and reenforce the training.I have to stay at a kennel right now because there aren't enough fosters to go around. So I don't get a lot of training during the week.

I will make an extraordinary companion to the right family that has experience with dogs and the time, patience and desire to devout to me. A fenced in yard is needed and children must be over 6 y/o.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.
