Christmas
My name is Christmas and it's very fitting because I've been blessed with many Christmas miracles. When I was rescued at 3 months old, I was already emaciated and broken. My left hind leg was dangling, useless and horribly painful. The rescue didn't think it could be saved and I would have to live my life as a three legged dog. They decided to give me a chance and go for it. They fattened me up and Dr. Wilson, with his magic touch, saved my leg. I'll never run the race tracks in Florida or be flyball champ, but It's a miracle I still have it. I am a typical puppy who loves to play and run and get into mischief, but I have a special love for life and would like to have the opportunity to share it with a loving family. Applications for adoption are available from www.MakingMiraclesAnimalRescue.org or Application.pdf. Please fax in the application to (248) 499-1953. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
