He was very friendly, goofy and boisterous when he first came in but the longer he's at the kennel, the more issues he's developing, sadly. He loves people but needs a little time to feel secure. He will growl and lunge and snarl at times and needs a quieter environment. Stan is in training to help him work on his socialization issues and we would like to see him adopted or fostered by someone who will keep up his training. The rescue would help with the cost. We are looking for an experienced positive reinforcement dog handler to give this boy a chance to get out of the kennel and be the fun, energetic boy he used to be. He will need a home with no other animals and older children only. A physical fenced yard is a must. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
