For personal reasons the current foster cannot keep her, Claude urgently needs a new foster or future home!] Claude is a very energetic, two year old cat. She is very friendly and absolutely loves her people! She also loves to play with other cats once she knows them, and can get along well with dog, as long as they aren't too focused on her. Claude has been adapting to living in a home for the first time, but she's done great and really enjoys the life of a house cat. She's still skittish, so loud noises and new experiences may send her running around the corner. But, she will happily come bounding back to her people once the scare is over. She prefers to stay on her feet, and may complain if she's picked up, but she's more than happy to jump into your lap on her own terms for some cuddles and pettings. Claude is full of energy, and loves to play. She does great with other cats and plays chase all day; she would love to have another young playful cat in her future home. If there isn't another kitty to play with, she will settle for lots of toys and playtime with her people too. She also loves to birdwatch, and she will even sit and watch the TV when there are birds to watch there. Claude will do best in a quieter home, with older children. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fee - Cat : $100 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
